THE FORECAST
A fair bit of cloud to start the day, especially in northern and western areas with the best of the brightness in the south-east quarter of the United Kingdom.
The cloud is thick enough to produce some patchy rain into northern and northwestern parts of England but nothing of significance. A different story for parts of S/W/NW Scotland with rainfall affecting these parts, we’ll see the risk continue throughout the day but the trend of the rainfall will be for it to push further north and fizzle out further south of the region.
The risk of a few light showers in western and northwestern areas today, though for the majority it will remain dry. Variable amounts of cloud cover is expected today, especially for northern and northwestern areas though there will be some breaks.
The best of the weather today will be across central, eastern, southern and south-eastern areas once again with highs ranging from 18-21c. So feeling rather pleasant!
Cooler further north with temperatures ranging from 12-15c. Have a great Friday, whatever the weather!
